To celebrate 150 years of the first boat trip around Mallorca by locals, Jansky have composed a piece with soundscape recordings and a tale in verse which evokes their voyage, and looks into our current perception of both the island as a home and the concept of travel. Coproduced with the Maritime Museum of Mallorca.

Jansky go on their second German tour, including Frankfurt, Heidelberg and Saarbrücken, with the ‘Insecta Dance Music’ show, plus a series of ‘Poets’ to the dancefloor!’ workshops and field recording sessions.
A site-specific live performance by Jansky, based on the sound space they created for Ana Tejedor’s photo exhibition ‘Tinto’.
The live interpretation includes field recordings of aquatic habits, custom sound samples and poems.
Presentation of the first ‘Sound Guide of Balearic Pollinators’ and bioblitz, as part of the events during International Museum Day at the Botanical Gardens.
